Oyo Deputy Governor Expresses Gratitude To Gov Makinde, Well-wishers on Birthday Celebration

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, members of the state cabinet and all well-wishers for felicitating with him on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

In a message personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, Barr. Lawal said he was overwhelmed by the show of love demonstrated through heartfelt messages, prayers, thoughtful gifts, and warm gestures of solidarity.

He said: “It is with a heart full of gratitude that I register my profound appreciation to everyone who felicitated me on the occasion of my birthday.

“Your wonderful messages, prayers, gifts, and solidarity brought me so much joy and made my day extra special.”

The Deputy Governor however expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Makinde for his leadership, support, and brotherly love, describing him as an exemplary leader whose values continue to inspire.

He added, “I’m so happy to know that I have such wonderful people around who care for me. While I will forever remain grateful for the show of love, I pray to the Almighty God to continue to preserve each and every one of us. Amen.”

Barr. Lawal assured the people of Oyo State of his continued commitment to the development agenda of the Makinde-led administration and thanked all who made his day memorable.
