Agboworin fetes Sumonu, Ekolo on birthday anniversary
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, has felicitated with the former first female Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu on the occasion of her birthday anniversary, today.
Agboworin, in a statement signed by his Media Group, described Senator Sunmonu as a woman of peace and most dynamic politician in the state.
The two term lawmaker also appreciated her support for the current administration being led by Governor Seyi Makinde, saying that her contributions remain invaluable and significant.
He added that the former lawmaker, in her political dealings, has shown a high level of discipline, loyalty, and commitment to the PDP government, thereby making life more meaningful for the people of the state.
Agboworin, however, prayed that God should grant her many more years of good health, abundance of blessings and her heart desires.
The statement read, “Today, I am happy to wish you, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, a happy birthday.
“In politics and in terms of sacrifice for humanity, you have shown a great deal of discipline, loyalty and commitment to the government of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
“On this joyous occasion, I want to wish you well in her political endeavours and pray that God grants you many more years of good health, abundance of blessings and her heart desires.
“May the years ahead of you be filled with even greater accomplishments and fulfillment.”
Similarly, the lawmaker equally congratulated a prominent PDP leader and former Chairman of Ibadan South East local government area, Hon. Abiodun Ekolo, on his birthday anniversary.
He commended his commitment to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and equally acknowledged his active role as a leader in the Council area.
Agboworin expressed that his dedication to serving humanity and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in his community shall be rewarded.
The lawmaker, however prayed for continued success, good health, fulfillment in the years ahead, and wished him well in his future endeavours.
