Oyo Deputy Gov hosts Aare Musulumi De-damak, Gov’t officials, community leaders, others on special iftar

In the spirit and mood of the Ramadan Season, the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, hosted notable stakeholders in the state, including religious leaders, community leaders, government officials, market leaders, and other prominent Muslim faithfuls to a special iftar on Friday.

The event, which was open to all Muslims, was to enable the faithful to pray for Makinde administration, as well as to share the joy of Ramadan with the Deputy Governor, senior government officials, top dignitaries and leading Islamic scholars.

Among the distinguished guests of honor were Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, popularly known as De-damak; Asiwaju Adinni Of Oyo State, Alh Mutiullah Oladejo; Yeye Aare Of Ibadanland, Alhaja Mariam Akinola; Amir Waisin of Oyo State & Chief Missioner Al-Khuburah Society Worldwide, Sheikh Muhiydeen Najimdeen; President-General CCII, Aare (Barr) Ajeniyi Ajewole and Asiwaju Adinni of Ibadanland, Mutiullah Abdul Azeez Oladejo.

Others were Alh K. O. Lawal, Babalaje Of Bola Ige International Market; Alh Alli Rasheed Oladepo; Top Market Leader Of Bola Ige International Market & Renown Textile Merchant; Engr Isiaq Adeniran; YUSRULLAH Society President; Alhaja Iswat Ameringun, Iyaloja Of Ibadanland, Alh Kunle Akanbi, Chairman KITT AUTOS; and Alh Adekunle AbdulFatai, Chairman ASHIFAU Islamic Society.

The Deputy Governor took the opportunity to thank the people of the state for their support and understanding, stating that the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde remained committed to advancing the state’s economic development.

Recall that since the beginning of the Ramadan fast, Barr. Lawal has been hosting Muslim faithful for iftar.
