BREAKING: Oyo Assembly directs Saki East chairman, Adedokun to step aside over alleged gross misconduct  

The Oyo State House of Assembly has directed the Executive Chairman of Saki East Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Adedokun, to step aside till further notice over alleged gross misconduct.

The development was as a result of a petition brought before the House on Tuesday by eleven concerned stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki East Local Government over alleged flagrant disobedience of Governor Seyi Makinde’s directive since inception. 

The House however directed Hon. Razaq Adeyemi who is the vice chairman to act as chairman while the secretary of the local government should ask as vice chairman pending investigation by task committee on local government and Chieftaincy matters. 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the suspension is with immediate effect till further notice.
