Rep, Ojo Sunday Makanjuola commissions Digital Library and CBT Centre

Lawmaker representing Ogooluwa/Surulere in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola, popularly known as Smato, on Monday, commissioned a Digital Library/CBT Centre located at Arolu community high school, Surulere Local Government, Oyo state.

He reiterated his commitment to providing necessary facilities to ease learning in educational institutions across his constituency.

He added that the project is the beginning of many other projects in 2025

Smato, who is the chairman of the House Committee on Friendship Group to Pakistan, and the deputy chairman of the House Committee on Solid Minerals, noted that the project would serve students seeking admission into various tertiary institutions.

The lawmaker was duly represented at the event by several stakeholders, including Folaranmi Oyebanji, Hon. Lasisi Aworinde and Surulere PDP Chairman, Adebayo Adeyeye.

However, the stakeholders praised Hon. Smato for the enormous progress and project completion, admitting that he had previously heard complaints from students about their inability to write CBT exams.

In their words: “We are aware of some of the challenges our young people face when applying to different institutions in this country and writing CBT. We conducted assessments of this problem a while back and developed several workable remedies, such as setting up a top-notch, fully-equipped CBT, which is one of the immediate solutions to addressing it.

“It is without a doubt that this project would benefit all residents of Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal, even though the CBT Centre is situated at Arolu Community High School, Surulere Local Government.”

According to the stakeholders, the top-notch digital library and CBT centre, which is duly registered with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), will have all the amenities needed for a seamless exam process.

They acknowledged that Hon. Smato will continue to act in the public interest and thanked the constituents for their unwavering patience and prayers.

The event was also attended by community and traditional rulers, including Kabieyesi Alarolu of Aro land, Oba Adedeji Adebayo, and host of others.
