BREAKING: Smato doles out free jamb scholarship to over 100 constituents
Lawmaker representing Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola (SMATO) has doled out jamb scholarship to over 100 constituents as part of his efforts to enhance access to high-quality education.
The lawmaker noted that the gesture was borne out of his passionate desire to enhance the education standard of his people as well as encourage overall growth and development of his constituency.
Smato, the chairman of the House Committee on Friendship Group to Pakistan and deputy chairman of the House Committee on Solid Minerals, disclosed these on Tuesday through his media bureau after completing the registration of more than 100 JAMB candidates at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
He said that education is the most effective tool for bringing about global change. “With JAMB scholarships, we are giving students in Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency the opportunity to realise their full potential and ensure a better future,”
“This bold initiative not only underscores Hon. Makanjuola’s commitment to human capital development also reflects his visionary approach to governance where education takes the centre stage,” Hon Smato said.
The federal lawmaker, however, reiterated his commitment to transformative leadership, pointing out that he is driven by his passion and commitment to prioritizing education for young people.
