The Aare of Akoboland, Hon. Mathew Alani Oyeniyi, has joined other well-wishers to celebrate the Chairman Oyo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Ademola Omotoso, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message personally signed on Monday, Hon. Oyeniyi described Omotoso as a quintessential leader whose strategic vision, tireless dedication, and remarkable contribution have been central to the advancement and transformation of Oyo State.
He emphasised Omotoso’s consistent support for Governor Seyi Makinde, highlighting both his important position in Oyo State politics and his unwavering dedication to good governance, both of which have had a profound and long-lasting impact.
The Aare Akobo land, who disclosed he had previously served under him as a councillor while he was the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, further described Omotoso as a political juggernaut who has long been committed to public service.
Hon. Mathew highlighted Omotoso’s noteworthy accomplishments and his commitment to enhancing housing and community welfare in Oyo state.
He also praised Omotoso for his administrative prowess and leadership skills during times of conflict, especially for his ability to show compassion for those encroaching on housing properties by allowing them to remain in their homes instead of evicting thousands through demolition.
The new chairman of Housing Corporation has been able to further transform the Housing corporation and build on the work of his predecessors.
The statement read: “By building on the success of his predecessor, Hon. Omotoso has been instrumental in the transformation of the Olubadan Estate and Ajoda New Town.
“His wise leadership has been essential in improving living conditions, and we believe he will leave Housing Corporation in a better state than when he arrived.
As he continues to stay firm in his unrelenting support of Governor Seyi Makinde, propelling Oyo State towards greater heights of wealth and progress, I pray that the upcoming year will bring him even more fulfilment in both his personal and professional lives.
