….Housing Manager becomes 7th President

In honour of his exceptional contributions to humanity and development, the Akobo Integrity Lions Club District 404-B4 Nigeria on Saturday presented Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, the Deputy Governor of Oyo, an aesthetic plaque of outstanding recognition and made him a full member of Lions International.

This occurred when Sarafadeen Toyeshe Lawal, the Managing Director of Housing Corporation, Lion (ESV), was chosen to serve as the seventh president of the Akobo Lions Club.

The event which took place at Providence Arena Hotel and Suites, Akobo, Ibadan, had in attendance notable personalities including a LAUTECH don, Professor Azeem Ige.

In his brief remarks, the Deputy Governor noted that he is always available to the club’s leaders and members for their level of support in the development of Ibadan land.

“One cannot even resist belonging to the Lions Club. It is my prayer that you will continue to grow and be supplied in every areas you need it. And to crown it up, I am proud to be a full member of the Akobo Lions club”, he said.
