Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, marked his birthday this year in an extraordinary way by visiting both the General Hospital and Kishi Muslim Ummah Hospital to extend kindness and support to patients and pregnant women. As part of his gesture, he distributed cash gifts to ease their burdens and he was accompanied with his wife, Alhaja Ghalibat Olayiwola who is also a nurse.

In his statement, Hon. Olayiwola revealed, “I’ve never celebrated my birthday before. I’ll just be at home and pray, but this year, I just felt like visiting the hospital to give some cash to the patients.”

His visit was met with appreciation, as one of the Kishi Muslim Ummah Hospital staff, Alfa Soliu Kamaldeen, expressed gratitude for this thoughtful innovation. While thanking the Chairman, they requested the grading of the road leading to the hospital and the provision of a signpost at its main entrance. They also prayed for his success and a more impactful leadership.

The pregnant women attending antenatal care celebrated the Chairman with songs and heartfelt prayers. In response, Hon. Olayiwola prayed for their safe deliveries and presented them with cash gifts to support their needs.

This unique celebration highlights Hon. Olayiwola’s compassionate leadership and his dedication to the welfare of the people of Irepo Local Government.
