Smato hails Makinde over recruitment of teachers, says “Oyo is progressing”
The lawmaker representing Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Makanjuola Smato has heap-praised Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for the successful recruitment of teachers for Primary and Secondary Schools in the state.
Smato, who is the chairman of the House Committee on Friendship Group to Pakistan, and the deputy chairman of the House Committee on Solid Minerals, gave the commendation in a press statement on Tuesday.
According to him, Governor Makinde has not only fulfilled his pledge to recruit SUBEB and TESCOM teachers, but has also taken action to provide equal employment opportunities for educators from all backgrounds.
He stated that the development is a component of his dedication to providing indigenous people with high-quality education.
He added that Oyo State is developing under Governor Makinde’s leadership and that the recruitment would close the gap in the education sector and give students in public primary schools a top-notch education.
He said: “I must sincerely commend my principal, Seyi Makinde, for his approval of successful applicants for the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)
