Oyo North PDP Senatorial Meeting: Makinde/Lawal, Symbol of Hope — Says Oke-Ogun GSM Youth Coordinators

Following the Oyo North PDP Senatorial Meeting on Wednesday, the Oke-Ogun group of Youth Co-ordinators for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde in 2023, said the engagement has not only fostered unity within the party but also set the stage for more focused and effective campaigns towards the upcoming elections.

The Deputy governor, His Excellency Barr. Bayo Lawal commendation reflects growing confidence in Governor Makinde’s leadership and the PDP’s capacity to maintain its stronghold in Oyo State and beyond.

The Deputy Governor however reaffirmed the necessity of party unity while also stating that a reconciliation committee would be constituted to address the concerns of resentful members. He insisted that party members should be given equal access to political slots and promised that crises within the party would be urgently addressed.

Additionally, he announced that Baba Saka Balogun would coordinate the reconciliation committee to ensure that the party is united in the Oyo North Senatorial district.

Ultimately, the youths co-ordinators who met immediately after the meeting commended the vital role of being played by His Excellency in assuring youths inclusiveness and immense benefits for party members.
