Olayiwola Urges New Irepo Amotekun Recruits to Prioritize Duty Over Monetary Gains During Courtesy Visit
Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, hosted the newly recruited Amotekun rangers in his office, urging them to remain committed to their duties and never let monetary interests override their responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of discipline and dedication in carrying out their security roles.
During the meeting, Olayiwola commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, the Deputy Governor and Co-pilot, Barr. Bayo Lawal, and the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abdulwaheed Soliu Adelabu, for their instrumental roles in the recruitment process.
The newly recruited rangers expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde, his Co-pilot Barr. Bayo Lawal, and Prof. Adelabu for the opportunity to serve in the Amotekun Corps. They pledged to uphold the highest standards of service and be up to the task in safeguarding lives and property. Olayiwola concluded by encouraging the recruits to prioritize their duty above financial interests, emphasizing that professionalism, loyalty, and dedication are key to achieving the state government’s vision of enhancing community security.
