Board member: Oyo Deputy Gov congratulates Agbaje on appointment, thanks Gov Makinde

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has extended a warm congratulations to Alhaji Mojeed Agbaje on his new appointment as member, Oyo State Pace-Setter Transport Board. 

Recall that Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Monday, approved the appointments of several individuals into the Boards of Pace-Setter Transport Service; Housing Corporation and Pension following his resumption of office after a four-week vacation. 

Receiving the appointee at the Governor’s office on Tuesday, the Deputy Governor who described Agbaje’s appointment as well deserved, charged him to discharge his duty diligently. 

He equally urged him to collaborate with the chairman and other relevant parties to guarantee the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service’s prosperity.

Barr. Lawal who expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, for recognizing his potentials and appointing him as the PTS Board member, (Oyo North), in his administration, said he’s confident that Agbaje will excel in his new role and make a positive impact in the State’s Transport system.

“This appointment demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to drive progress in the Pacesetter Transport in Oyo State. 

“I wish you good luck and success in your new role as I am confident that you will make a positive impact.

Agbaje, however, thanked Governor Makinde and his Deputy, as well as the party leaders in Oke-ogun, noting that without their support and endorsement, the appointment would not have been possible.
