Ogbomoso North LG Chairman, Ogunlade pledges support for community policing
The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, on Wednesday attended the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) meeting chaired by Chief (Dr) Ademola Orunmila JP.

During the meeting, Ogunlade commended PCRC members for their selfless efforts in combating crime which is driven by their love for the community and to maintain a peaceful co-existence.
He noted that his position as the local government chairman is to ensure that everyone are able to live comfortably without any fear stressing that it’s a mission that must be accomplished for the good people of Ogbomoso North.
Ogunlade however pledged to keep supporting the PCRC while also tasking them to key into the security of lives and properties for the progress of the community.
He equally appealed to the people of Ogbomoso North to embrace peaceful protests, believing that the local government and Oyo state will continue to experience positive changes under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Earlier in his remarks, Supro Taiwo, representing the DPO, commended the Chairman for being a grassroots politician as well as being the first local government chairman of the local government to attend their meeting.
He praised Ogunlade for being an attentive listener to the people’s concerns, as well as demonstrating his commitment to the community’s welfare.
He however prayed Almighty God to continue to guide and give him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the council.
