Kishi Leaders Call for Peace, Oppose Planned Protests

Let’s Our Community be in Peace – Irepo LG Chairman, T.T Olayowola*

The Irepo LG Chairman, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, the Iba of Kishi, Engr. Dr. Moshood Oyekola Aweda Lawal, and the KPU National President, Alh. Bioku Rahman Jimoh, have collectively voiced their opposition to any form of protest in the Kishi community and its environs.

This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the media aide to the local government chairman, Salaudeen Abdulmuiz Tobi, on Saturday. 

They emphasized the importance of maintaining peace in Kishi, stressing that the community should continue to thrive without disruption. The leaders highlighted that protests, whether peaceful or violent, are not supported in the area.

“Let’s keep Kishi in peace; we are not in support of any protest, whether peaceful or violent,” he stated, urging the community to avoid actions that could disturb the current harmony.
