Irepo LG: Yeye Adenike Fauziyat pens appreciation message to Gov. Makinde, Oyo Deputy Gov and wife, Edu Commissioner, others over appointment, expresses readiness to serve

Newly appointed and inaugurated Supervisory Councilor for Women Affairs and Special Duties, Hon. (Mrs) Yeye Adenike Aderibigbe Fauziyat Remi-Olarinde, has extended a Thank-you message to Governor Seyi Makinde, the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal and his wife, Chief (Mrs) Ajibola Ajibike Lawal for the rare opportunity given to her to serve his people under the able leadership of Hon. Taoheed Olayiwola, the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government.

She equally appreciated the Oyo Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Soliu Abdul waheed Adelabu and other party leaders for their unflinching support. 

In her appreciation message on Sunday, the female politician who is also known as a philanthropist thanked them for the confidence placed in her while expressing her readiness to serve and deliver optimally.

Yeye Adenike, who is the CEO of T-Gold Unisex Salon and Boutique in Ibadan, noted that Barr. Lawal and his wife have been a blessing to the Kishi community and have been so instrumental to the development of Kishiland through their numerous life changing and empowerment programs.

According to her, under the current administration, not only the sons and daughters of Kishi have benefitted greatly but outsiders including Fulani and other tribes who set haven in Irepo local government or any part of the state. 

She described Barr. Lawal and his wife as a pride of Kishi community praying that God continue to preserve them in good health and wealth as well as spare their lives for many more accomplishments. 

In her words: “While I thank God for this wonderful moment, I’ll forever be grateful to His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal and his wife, Chief (Mrs) Ajibike Ajibola Lawal for this rare opportunity. This wouldn’t have possible without their support. 

“I am equally grateful to His Excellency, Seyi Makinde for providing the platforms to serve my people. My gratitude also goes to the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abdulone; Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Taoheed Olayiwola, PDP leaders and host of others who made this a reality. 

“It is my sincere prayer to Almighty God that the Chairman succeeds and overcome all challenges before him for the local government to benefit more from his wonderful service to humanity.”
