Irepo LG Chairman, Olayiwola Swears In New Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants, Charges Them To Be Good Ambassadors

Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, the Irepo Local Chairman, on Saturday, sworn in Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants at the Irepo Local Government Secretariat in Kishi. 

While addressing the appointees, Olayiwola expressed gratitude to Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, FNSE, the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barr Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal and Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof Abdulwaheed Soliu Adelabu, for their unflinching support. 

Olayiwola emphasized the importance of service over rulership, urging the new appointees to be good ambassadors of their families and the Irepo Local Government. 

He equally encouraged them to use the opportunity to build their careers, work for the progress of the party, and promote its interests.

Alh Hon Jimoh Sijuade Amodu, who is a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in the Local Government and member of the Oyo State Hajj Commission, advised the appointees to support the Chairman’s transformation agenda. 

The Irepo PDP party Chairman, Hon Ismail Odejide Baade however charged all the appointees to always remember the platform that gave them the opportunity which is the party, as well as always promote and support the party.

The Supervisory Councillors are Remi Olarinde Fauziat Adenike – Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs and Special Duties, Abdulrasaq Abdulganiyu – Supervisory Councillor for Information and Culture, Lawal Akeem – Supervisory Councillor for Works and Housing, Ibrahim Ismail Fulani – Supervisory Councillor for Transportation Management, Oyewole Arimiyau – Supervisory Councillor for Youth and Sports, Adediji John Oluwaseun – Supervisory Councillor for Education and Social Services, Princess Oyeniyi Fasilat Adebola – Supervisory Councillor for Community Affairs and Rural Development, Salaudeen Lateef Aremu – Supervisory Councillor for Health and Medical Services, Abdulraheed Tiamiyu – Supervisory Councillor for Environmental Health, Olanipekun Sunday Oyewole – Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture and Natural Resources.

While Special Assistants are Ali Ibrahim Akanbi, Rasaki Bawa, Oseni Wasiu Olaide, Ismail Akimi Hausa, Abdulrasheed Kamaldeen Adisa, Oladoja Taiwo, Adeleke Fashina Agboola, David Aremu Agboola, Lateef Abdulsalam Adesope
