Arexzie appreciates Gov. Makinde, Ogbomoso North Chair, LAUTECH dons, others over LG appointment

Following his appointment as Supervisory Councillor in Ogbomoso North Local Government, Comrade Ajibola Areo popularly known as Arexzie has heaped praised and extended his deep gratitude to Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde for the rare opportunity to serve.

Arexzie, who equally appreciated the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North, Hon. George Ogunlade, as well as leaders and members of Peoples Democratic Party in the Local Government, for their unwavering support, promised not to betray their trust placed in him. 

He thanked everyone who have been a strong pillar of support to his political career since his undergraduate at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, particularly Professor Tunde Olabiyisi and host of others.  

In his words: “This appointment would not have been practically possible if not for the support of the Chairman and other PDP leaders who stood their ground and insisted that it must be Arexzie. 

“It is my sincere prayer to Almighty God that the Chairman succeeds and overcome all challenges before him for the local government to benefit more from his wonderful service to humanity.

“Please, let’s remember the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde in our prayers on daily basis. May God continue to guide him. 

“Special thanks to the entire PDP members and leaders as well as the LAUTECH community for their support particularly Professor Olabiyisi and other LAUTECH dons. I am immensely grateful to you all.”

Arexzie, a famous and former SUG President at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, graduated with a Second Class UPPER Division, between 2010-2015 and currently undergoing his postgraduate studies (M.TECH) in Ruminants Production and Management in the same faculty and Institution. 

He had earlier served as the acting Youth leader of Sabo Tara Ward 10 in Ogbomoso North LGA under PDP and was the campaign DG to Hon. Bisi Oluranti Oyewo Micheal who won the 2023 election for Ogbomoso North House of Assembly.

He was equally the Director General for youth mobilization at Ogbomosho North Local Government Area which delivered “ILERIOLUWA2024” mandate of Hon George Ogunlade as Chairman of the council under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
