Prominent dignitaries attended the traditional wedding ceremony of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s nephew, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, who married his heartthrob, Chioma Rowland. 

Among them was Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who was represented by his Deputy, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal.

Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, Abia Governor Alex Otti, Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel, Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki, former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu were also present at the event, which was held at Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, in Lagos. 

Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, the chairman Conference of Speakers, senators, members of the House of Representatives, the speaker of Osun, Adewale Egbedun, and other eminent personalities graced the occasion of Afrobeats star who had earlier shared his wedding pictures on his Instagram account with the hashtag #CHIVIDO2024.

Royal fathers were also present including the Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II); Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye; Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin; Timi of Ode, Oba Munirudeen Lawal; Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom; Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III as well as friends and well-wishers. 

The dignitaries whose attendance at the event exemplified the strong bond of friendship that transcend political and regional boundaries, also demonstrated love and unity that exists between people of different tribes and backgrounds.
