Oyo Deputy Gov pays condolence visit to Arapaja over mother’s death 

Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrisater Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal has commiserated with the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja.

The Deputy Governor, who paid a condolence visit to the former Deputy Governor and his family at his Felele residence in Ibadan on Thursday, prayed to Allah to grant mama Al-Janat Firdaos.

He equally prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the Irreplaceable loss.

Barr. Lawal, who was in company of Hon. Hon Olufunke Comforter Olajide, repressing Ibadan North Constituency 1, urged Amb. Arapaja and the family to take solace in the fact that Alhaja lived a good life and left great legacies that can be seen in her children.

“I was shocked to learn about our mama, Alhaja Limotali Arapaja’s passing, but we must submit to the will of Almighty Allah.

“I express my condolences to your Excellency and the entire family for this irreplaceable loss. The fact that our mother lived a full life till the age of 95 and then departed for the hereafter should give us consolation. 

“May Almighty Allah grant her Al-Jannat Firdaus,” he said. 

Hon Akeem Ademola Ige, Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board; Hon. Olayinka Ayobami Omikunle, representing Ibadan South East II State Constituency, as well as Hon. Modiu Opeyemi Akande Alabamusa of Ibadan South East Constituency1, were among those who welcomed the Deputy Governor.
