Eid-el-Kabir: Afonja splashes cash gifts on PDP members in Ogbomoso North

In celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, Professor Abdulrahman Raphael Afonja has generously splashed cash gifts to members of Peoples Democratic Party in Ogbomoso North local government.

This compassionate act demonstrates Afonja’s commitment to recognising members’ efforts in maintaining support for the Makinde administration and to promoting party unity in Ogbomoso North local government.

The Eid-el-Kabir celebration, a festival known for its themes of sacrifice, charity, and community, provided the perfect backdrop for this act of generosity.

Professor Afonja’s gesture not only celebrated the spirit of the festival but also reinforced the importance of unity and support within the party.

Afonja, who has never seized extending support to households and individuals in need within Ogbomoso zone and beyond, is poised to make party members have a joyful celebration.

The gesture was aimed at cushioning the economic hardship faced by many constituents owing to the high cost of living as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

Speaking with newsmen on Friday, Professor Afonja noted that many people are going through difficult times, stressing that the gifts is a token of his support to party members and individuals to celebrate the Eid-el-kabir celebration with joy and peace.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the gifts wisely as they enjoy the Eid-el-kabir celebration.

“I’wish you a blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration. May the spirit of the season unite us and bring us closer together”, he said.

The beneficiaries include local women, youths, party excos, among others.
