BIRTHDAY: “You remain one of the best gifts in the world of Journalism”— Oyo Deputy Gov extols Isaac Brown

The Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has joined the media in celebrating with Mayor Isaac Brown, extolling the journalist for his dedication to duty, devotion to nation building and determination to promote democratic values.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, the Deputy Governor described Isaac Brown as one of the most sought-after on-air personalities in Oyo State and Nigeria, whose enormous contributions to national concerns, particularly Oyo state matters, cannot be overemphasized.

He noted the contributions of the journalist to political developments in the country as a skilled broadcaster and journalist who consistently keeps the public informed about important issues with his hallmark clarity, fairness, and balance, which draw in a lot of readers to his reports.

While extolling his sterling qualities, the Deputy Governor pointed out that his human angle programmes, which he has hosted on several broadcasting stations, and now Fresh FM Radio station, have had a positive impact on the sociopolitical and economic development of Oyo State.

He said: “Without mincing words, Mayor Isaac Brown remains one of the best gifts in the world of journalism. Few journalists can match his unwavering commitment to upholding the standards of journalism while carrying out their duties.

“He has been making a significant contribution to our administration’s achievements, and we hope that he will continue in that trajectory.”

The Deputy Governor however prayed that the Almighty God will guide the celebrant in his service to the nation, and bless his family.
