BREAKING: Governing Council confirms Ogbomoso born Prof Kalilu as LAUTECH VC
Professor Rasaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu has been announced as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH Ogbomoso.
The development was confirmed by a reliable source on Wednesday.
MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that the Governing Council just announced Prof Kalilu as next substantive VC of LAUTECH though subject to the Visitor’s approval.”
The name is expected to be forwarded to Governor Seyi Makinde the state’s helmsman and Visitor to the university for endorsement.
This is in accordance with the new law proposed by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), it was stated.
Prof Kalilu has served as Acting Vice Chancellor since last year June.
