Economic Hardship: ‘Ice Water’ Returns As Two Sell For N50
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that Nigerians are gradually returning to the days of old as the sting of economic hardship continues to bite harder.
In Ibadan presently, the initiative of ‘Ice Water’ which was in vogue in the 90s before the emergence of Sachet water has returned.
In a video obtained by MOUTHPIECE NGR, a woman was seen advertising ‘Ice Water’ which is basically cold water packaged in a white nylon instead of the sealed sachet and it is relatively cheaper compared to the normal sachet water.
In the video, she mentioned that she sells two for N50 which means one sells for N25.
The woman was seen at the Iwo road park in Ibadan.
Recall that Pure Water producers had last week went on strike over the rising cost of materials used in production.
