LAUTECH alumni hails Tinubu, congratulates GP, Lekan Badmus on appointment 

The entire LAUTECH alumni association worldwide has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of its Global President, Hon. Lekan Badmus as the Executive Director, Marin and Operations of Nigerian Port Authority. 

In a statement made available to newsmen on Friday by its Public Relation Officer, Dr. Babalola Obasanjo, the association expressed gratitude to the Nigerian President for recognizing its 5th Global President to be part of his administration.

Describing Hon. Badmus as worthy to man the affairs of the Nigerian Port Authority, the association pledged unwavering support for his achievement in office and pleaded with him to make decisions that will advance the agency’s growth and promotion. 

The statement read: “On behalf of the entire LAUTECH alumni association worldwide, we wish to congratulate you on your recent appointment as the Executive Director of Nigerian Port Authority.

“The entire association believes in your strength and wisdom to paddle the task ahead.

“While we promise you of our unshaken support, we hope you will bring to bear in your new appointment the selfless commitment, focus and capacity which have throughout time been the cornerstones of your success. 

“Our deepest appreciation also goes to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing our 5th Global President as Executive Director, Marine and Operation of Nigerian Port Authority.

“We pray Allah continue to be with him as we wish both of you a successful tenure in office.”
