PHOTOS: Makinde hosts NBS Nigeria to dinner
The Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday, hosted delegation of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), to dinner at the Presidential Lodge, Government House.
The delegation, led by the Statistician General of the Federation/CEO National Bureau of statistics, Prince Adeyemi Adeniran, were received by the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, on behalf of the Governor.
Recall that the delegation had since Tuesday stormed Oyo state for the 2nd bi-annual meeting of the National Consultative Committee on Statistics (NCCS), which was held at the Kakanfo INN and Conference Centre, Ringroad, Ibadan, to review statistical activities and harmonise methodology for data production in the National Statistical System (NSS).

On the entourage of the Deputy Governor who played host to the NBS Nigeria include the Commissioner for Education, Prof salihu Abdul Waheed Adelabu; Director of Survey and Town Planning Oyo State Housing Corporation, Alhaji olalekan Animasaun and host of others.

Prince Adeniran thanked Governor Makinde for making it possible for the NCCS conference to be held in Oyo state without any issues and praised his outstanding leadership and economic recovery, particularly in terms of advancing the state’s economy to improve the wellbeing of Oyo residents.
