Oriire LG Chairman, Olateju Michael commiserates with families of 3 Oyo monarchs died in auto crash 

The Executive Chairman of Oriire Local Government, Hon. Olateju Michael Alabi, has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the tragic demise of three revered traditional rulers from Oriire LG in Ogbomoso.

Recalled that MOUTHPIECE NGR had, on Friday, reported the devastating news of a fatal road mishap that claimed the lives of three eminent leaders from Oriire Local Government Area. 

The traditional rulers identified as the Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro were en route to a social function when their vehicle collided head-on with a truck.

Alabi, who was visibly moved by the loss, conveyed his sympathies to the families, the Ogbomoso community, and the entire state in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday. 

He described the departed rulers as pillars of wisdom and embodiment of cultural heritage, emphasizing the irreplaceable void their absence leaves in the traditional fabric of the region.

“Their untimely departure is an immense loss not only for the families but for the entire community. We mourn the passing of these distinguished traditional rulers who served with dedication and passion,” Hon. Olateju Michael remarked.

The Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro were highly respected figures known for their contributions to community development, cultural preservation, and fostering unity among their subjects.

As the Oriire LG joins in mourning, Hon. Olateju Michael prayed that may their soul rest in peace and also urged residents to support and console the grieving families during this challenging time.
