Adamawa mourns death of Grand Imam of Tede, Alhaji Adedigba

PDP House of Reps candidate Saki West Saki East and Atisbo Federal Constituency, Dr Salami Lukman Adisa Adamawa has mourned the passage of Sheik Imaam, Alhaji Ahmad Tijani Adedigba, the Grand Imaam of Tedeland.

Adedigba, who died at the early hour of Saturday, was the Chaiman, League of Imaams and Alfas, Oke Ogun.

The PDP candidates in 2023 election, described the late Adedigba as a revered Islamic Leader and Scholar and a unifier of Muslim Ummah in Oke Ogun whose demise will leave a significant void for all Muslims in Tede.

He said that Imam Adedigba was a lover and a supporter of all religious followers living in Tede and Oke Ogun in peace, and the Oyo State Government will truly miss his wise counsel and unwavering assistance.

“Without a doubt, we will miss Baba Imam’s stern guidance. I ask Allah to provide his family and Muslim ummah a succor and the strength to endure the irreplaceable loss.

“I ask the Almighty Allah to overlook his human frailties and bestow upon him the greatest rank and station in Jannatu Fridaus. Amin thuma Amin”, he added.
