Lukman Adisa Adamawa calls for security consciousness in Old Ifedapo Federal Constituency

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki West local government, Dr Lukman Adisa, also known as Adamawa has called for improved collaboration among security agencies operating across the old Ifedapo federal constituency with a view to ensuring adequate protection of lives and properties in the areas.

Adamawa who made the call during the PDP weekly meeting at his ward 6, Kinnikinni/Ogidigbo area, Saki on Wednesday, noted that it was imperative for the Nigerian Police and other community security outfits to scale up synergy in order to ward off criminal activities and reported kidnapping, which is about to rear its ugly head in the peaceful societies.

Dr Adisa, who was the PDP candidate for the House of Representatives in Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West in the general elections of 2023, commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his proactive and supportive roles with the provision of modern security gadgets and operational vehicles.

He urged security personnel not to relent in their efforts to rid the areas of criminal elements for continued peace and development.

While enjoining the 3 local government chairmen in Atisbo, Saki East and Saki West to strengthen preventive safety protocols in their jurisdictions, through regular interactions with religious, community and traditional rulers for first hand intelligence, Dr Adisa advised the people of the constituency to always prioritize their safety and security.

The PDP chieftain however expressed his sympathies to the people of Sepeteri, particularly to the victims of the most recent kidnapping tragedy, and prayed that God would give the grieving family the strength to get over the loss of their breadwinner.
