PHOTOS: Makinde, wife in Lagos for National Women’s Conference
It was a loud ovation as Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde, and other dignitaries from Nigeria, stormed Eko Hotels and Suits for the formal opening of the 23rd National Women’s Conference (NWC) holding in Lagos.
Makinde, who was represented by his deputy, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, was welcomed with a thunderous ovation upon his arrival to the hall.
The annual conference with the theme: ‘Unleash Your Potential’, commenced on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
The three-day event, which is organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), also had in attendance the Nigerian First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima and the Wife of Senate president, Ekaette Akpabio.
Others were wives of former and serving governors; wives of senators and House members, government functionaries and host of others.
