Oyo AANFE bags best performing agency award 

Following the formation of Omituntun 2.0 under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, the Oyo state Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education (AANFE), has bagged the best performing agency award. 

The agency was presented the award at the Conference Centre of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, during a three-day leadership retreat for political appointees, including members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers, Executive Assistants and Chairmen of Agencies/Parastatals, among others on Tuesday. 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the ministry of Youths and Sports was also announced as the best performing ministry within the few months of Governor Seyi Makinde’s second term in office. 

The Chairman, Mr Ayo Olopoenia, who received the prestigious awards attributed the achievements to the collective efforts of the management and staff of Oyo state Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education.

He said: “We deserve this prestigious award because of our team work and sense of collaboration. We will continue to lead in the state as one of the top performing agencies.

“It has been 4 months since the takeover and we have witnessed significant transformation and achievements despite the challenges confronting the agency as a whole. We strongly believe in continuous improvement, that is why we have come this far.”

Olopoenia assured that all staff of the agency would not relent in its efforts in delivering excellent service for sustainable development of Oyo state.
