Encomiums as Rotary Club of Ilorin Fate Neighbourhood visits Ilorin Grammar School, donates writing materials, awards scholarship for student

The Rotary Club of Ilorin Fate Neighbourhood received warm accolades as they extended their goodwill to Ilorin Grammar School, Ilorin. In a heartwarming visitation, the club donated essential writing materials to over 100 students and inaugurated the Ilorin Grammar School Interact Club.

Rotary Club of Ilorin Fate Neighbourhood, under the leadership of President Rotarian Yakub Salmat Abolore, has long been known for its commitment to education and community development. The visit to Ilorin Grammar School was a testament to their unwavering dedication to empowering the youth.

During the visit, President Rotarian Yakub Salmat Abolore, in a statement, emphasized the importance of education and community involvement. She stated, “Education is the cornerstone of progress, and Rotary is dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders. We are thrilled to provide these writing materials to enhance the learning experience of these students.”

“We are thrilled to also announced that Mrs Ajayi Shade would bw awarded a life scholarship till graduation”- She noted.

While distributing the writing materials, President Abolore encouraged the students to embrace learning as a pathway to a brighter future. Her inspirational words resonated with both students and staff, fostering a sense of motivation and gratitude.

In addition to the generous donation, the Rotary Club of Ilorin Fate Neighbourhood also organized a Literacy Project and Career Talks session. The presentations were delivered by prominent members of the club, including Rtn Aibinuomo Rhoda Oluwatoyosi, Rtn Lawal Sidikat Taiye, and Rtr Al Mustapha AbdulAzeez. These sessions provided valuable insights and guidance to the students, helping them envision their future educational and career paths.
