VIDEO: NNPP members meet Ganduje, removes Kwakwansiya cap 

The former governor of Kano state and current national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje has received defectors from NNPP.

He received them at his Abuja office dramatically by removing their red cap symbol and replacing them with the ones that carry Tinubu’s cap symbol. This was captured in a video that surfaced online.

Recall that Ganduje has been at loggerheads with the NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwakwanso for some time. He was quoted saying he will slap him if he had met him in Abuja some months ago.

Also, the red cap is a signature of the Kwakwansiyya movement spearheaded by Rabiu Kwakwanso. The dramatic reception showing Ganduje removing the signature cap is a way to get back at the NNPP presidential candidate.
