Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ City set to host 1st Oba Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III Golf Tournament

His Imperial Majesty, Oba Oba Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III paid a visit to the Ogbomoso Golf Course inside the city recreational centre ahead of the December date of the first edition of the tournament that will host 200 golfers across the country. 

On the tour was the Captain of the Club, Oloye Olaleye ‘Pekun Amstrong and his executive team with the elders of the prestigious Club.

Speaking with the Newsmen after the tour Oloye Pekun Amstrong described the Imperial Majesty as God’s sent and a father to all.

He promised that the course would be in good shape ahead of the tournament and that all the necessary facilities would be installed. He further stated that the tournament would be one of its kind in the history of the club and Ogbomoso city, he assured the visiting golfers of great hospitality and also a tantalizing golfing experience. 

Talking to the Captain,  Otunba Yomi Ojo, the head of the news crew and also a golfer appreciates the new development in the club and strongly believes that Ogbomoso is a place to be in December.

The Elders and the Executive of the Club praised the Imperial Majesty for his seal for the rapid development of the game of golf and Ogbomoso land in general.
