PHOTONEWS: Oyo NASFAT women wing visits Bayo Lawal on return from Hajj

….pray for Makinde led administration

A Muslim group known as Nonal women affairs , Oyo zone 1 of NASFAT on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to Oyo State deputy governor, Alhaji Abdul-raheem Adebayo Lawal who arrived few days ago from the holy land (Makkah).

Led by Alhaja Adeyemo, the women prayed ardently for Governor Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Bayo Lawal, and wished them greater wisdom and understanding as they pilot the affairs of the state.

They equally congratulated the deputy governor on the successful completion of the hajj rites and praised him for his active participation in advancing Islam in Oyo state and for standing up for Muslims’ interests in the Makinde administration.

The women who were so excited to see him upon his return from the holy land, however received spiritual prayers from the deputy governor.

It should be noted that after doing the Hajj, pilgrims return to their country homes renewed spiritually, having received forgiveness for their sins, and ready to begin their lives over.

The Prophet Muhammad once told his followers that family and community members often prepare a celebration to welcome pilgrims home and congratulate them on completing the journey.

It is recommended to be humble in such gatherings, and to ask the ones returning from Hajj to pray for your forgiveness, as they are in a strong position to do so.
