2023: NAKSS distributes staple foods to students, urges massive voting during elections, lauds Saraki for support
A student-focused group under the aegis of National Association of Kwara State Students NAKSS, Ilorin has called on youths to shun voter apathy in its entirety and participate massively in electoral process.

This call for change in status quo was revealed during its Sensitization Talks scheduled for all campuses across Kwara State till election day which commenced on Monday where staple foods were distributed as complimentary for students.
According to the Convener of the programme, the program was aimed at enlightening and educating eligible voters among students populace on the need to understand their right to vote and that they have power to influence outcomes of elections.

“The era of voting ineptitude candidates who have no regard for students populace is over. Students must seek to hear from every candidate seeking for any political office and support the ones who respect their interests.
“Kwara students must exercise their franchise by voting candidates with clear cut strategies to return the country back to the youths. Therefore, they must reject every form of enticement to compromise a genuine cause.
“We can’t continue with a underperforming government with no sustainable support system for students by way of bursary and all-round interests in the students.
The Convener also lauded former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki for his conscious efforts to bring back the state from purveyors of bad governance with no regard for students.
“We want to commend Dr. Bukola Saraki for his leadership acumen and steadfastness to recover the state from purveyors of bad governance.
