2023: Forget the past, Makinde must return— Ilaka calls on supporters 

The Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Oyo Central Senatorial District, Chief Oyebisi Ilaka, has urged his supporters not to be disheartened by the outcome of the last senatorial elections.

 In a statement signed by his campaign Media Director, Omolere Omoetan, Ilaka stressed that elections were not do-or-die affairs. He said that in every contest, there must be winners and losers. 

He said ” Lift your chin up, we have fought a good fight. but be rest assured that will have better days ahead”.

While reiterating his support for Governor Seyi Makinde ahead of the March 11 governorship elections, Chief Ilaka stressed that there was no better candidate to occupy the Agodi Government House than Makinde.

Speaking further, the Oyo-born politician  described Makinde as a visionary leader who has demonstrated the capacity to take Oyo state to the promised land

Lastly, he called on all his supporters and residents of Oyo state to turn out in their numbers and vote for governor Seyi Makinde on March 11, 2023.
