OYSROMA begins fixing of Fire Hydrant Cover on roads removed by scavengers

The Chairman, Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA), Hon. Busoye Ogunlade has began the fixing of fire hydrants cover on roads in area of Oyo state removed by scavengers. 

According to a statement obtained by MOUTHPIECE on Friday, the removal of the fire hydrants cover has been an hindrance to the free movement of vehicles on the Oke Ado road. 

The statement reads: “Our attention was brought to the fire hydrant cover that was removed which has been an hindrance to the free movement of vehicles on the Oke Ado road which is a result of scavengers who illegally removed them.

“Special thanks to His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde for his consistent swift response to requests and complains of Oyo state residents. A diligent and outstanding leader to Oyo State.

“OYSROMA engineers and team have gone to the area of attention and proper amendments have been made to this abnormally and now road users can move freely at anytime of the day on the road.

“Incase this kind of irregularity is spotted on another road, please kindly bring our attention to it so we can address it and amend it as soon as possible.”
