Oriire South LCDA administrator, Lydia Bankole grades roads abandoned 10 years ago
Taking advantage of the dry season, the Polical administrator of Oriire South LCDA, Hon. Lydia Bankole has threw indigents and residents into jubilation as she continues grading of abandoned roads.
The grading of 11km of major roads which had commenced in some parts of the LCDA has continued with another 18km roads, MOUTHPIECE NGR has learnt.
The 18km roads which started from Iya Yosi-Awerankale-Ayegun-Boosa-Babasele to Ajaga Ase also connect with Alagi-Ologungun-Aiyegun all through to Orita Adetunji in ward 10
Bankole, who had resolved to ensuring road grading is felt in all nooks and crannies of Oriire South, noted that it will bring about seamless economic growth in the domain.
She added that her team are working round the clock to ensure no areas are left behind in the grading exercise.
She equally commended His Excellency, Seyi Makinde for the opportunity given to bring dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.

The residents, who couldn’t keep their happiness, commended Mrs. Bankole for her continued commitment towards massive chanelization of roads, which has been abandoned for the past 10 years.
“This is a moment of joy for us as residents. We couldn’t be so happier for this massive intervention from Mrs. Bankole. Our roads had been decrepited and abandoned for the last 10 years.”

Another resident, who is a farmer, corroborated the need for road grading to improve economic growth, especially in a settlement like Oriire South LCDA which is predominantly residenced by farmers.
“We are therefore grateful to Hon Lydia Bankole for complimenting the efforts of Oyo State government in ameliorating our road challenges”, one of the community leaders enthused
