Ige congratulates newly elected NULGE women chairperson, Adebayo

Ademola Ige, the governor of Oyo State’s Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism, has said that the poll that resulted in Mrs. Adeola Adebayo, the newly elected state NULGE women committee chairperson, was based on competence and capacity.

Ige, who claimed that she has shown herself in a variety of roles and can be trusted, gave her members confidence that she won’t let them down.

He said this on Monday when the NULGE women’s leader paid him a visit in his office to thank him for the part he played towards her success.

While congratulating and wishing her a succesful tenure, he urged her to use her position well and to be concerned about how to develop the NULGE, reminding her that Oyo state is a Pacesetter in these matters.

Then, he asked for their support and for them to cooperate with the Oyo state government, which had shown such concern for their needs in contrast to the previous administration, under which salaries were owned.

The former Oyo lawmaker and ex-council boss equally thanked the leadership of NULGE and her stakeholders especially Comrade Barrister Bayo Titilola Sodo the S. A Labour matters for his leadership role and moral support.

In her remarks, Comrade Adebayo thanked God over her life and vowed to remain devoted to NULGE President Comrade Ayobami Adeogun, whose leadership, according to her, is creating waves for the union.

The SA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Islamic matters, Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed Abdul-azeez also wished her a successful tenure.
