VIDEO: Bayo Lawal observes first Jum’at service as Oyo Deputy Governor
The Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Bayo Lawal has enjoined the residents of the pace setter state to continue to live in unity, peace and tranquillity to foster good governance.
Barrister Lawal gave the advice on Friday during his first official jum’at service at Oja’ba Central Mosque Ibadan, saying that he came to appreciates Almighty Allah, he also seized the opportunity to reel out achievements of Makinde led administration to include prompt payment of salaries which has expanded the economic of the state.
He therefore called for fervent prayers to enable continuous progress and development in the state and Nigeria at large.
Earlier in his sermon, the Chief Imam of ibadan land, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiy Agbotomokekere, charged Barrister Bayo Lawal to work in unity for the betterment of the people of the state.
He equally admonished Nigerians to inculcate good deeds as every life will be accounted for hereafter.
In the midst of his entourage are the oyo state Head of Service Alhaja Ololade Agboola, commissioners among other political appointees.
