Resign if presidency is tough – Activists’ group tells Buhari

Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, on Tuesday, has told President Muhammadu Buhari to tender his resignation immediately if the presidential assignment is tough for him.

HURIWA made this revelation via a statement, calling on President Buhari to tender his resignation to reduce the damage his “crass incompetence’ would bring to the country if he stayed on till May 29th, 2023.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that Buhari has, via a signed statement, confessed that his seven years in office have been “tough”.

The statement of the HURIWA partly reads, “Following the admission by President Muhammadu Buhari that the Presidency is tough and that he is eager to go, a call has gone to President Muhammadu Buhari, from the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria to be honest enough to resign now to minimise the damage his crass incompetence and gross dereliction of duty would cost the Country if he stayed on till May 29th 2023.”
