Onigboho visits Oyo Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal 

The Onigboho of Igboho land, Oba John Oyetola Bolarinwa Olubiyi II (JP), on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Barr. Bayo Lawal. 

Onigboho, who was accompanied by his traditional chiefs, described Barr. Bayo Lawal as gentle and trustworthy politician who has track record of achievements as Commissioner for Justice & Attorney General of Oyo State, and Chairman Oyo State Housing Corporation respectively. 

He advised him not to hesitate to seek advice from Royal fathers, urging him to act in accordance with the trust and confidence placed on him by His Excellency, Govern Oluseyi Makinde. 

Onigboho said and I quote, I congratulate you on your new position as Deputy Governor of Oyo State. Your nomination by the ever-performing Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde, FNSE is a reward of loyalty to your principal, and mutual respect for everyone regardless of age and social status.

“You are unquestionably a loyal and experienced politician who stands out to be recognized at any time, we expect you to hit the ground running as you face the daunting task. 

“As we wish you a successful tenure, we pray that the people will continue to pray for the growth and development of the state under the focused leadership of the people’s Governor.”
