I may attend your final rally, APC will win – Buhari tells Gov Oyetola

President Muhammadu Buhari has confessed that he may appear at the All Progressives Congress (APC) grand rally ahead of the Osun governorship election next week.

The President made this revelation while receiving Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola and party stakeholders on Wednesday.

The Nigerian President ceremonially presented the APC flag to the candidate.

He gave an assurance that the party has got the commitment to further the development of the state.

He commended the governor for his service to the people in his first term in office, adding that he has the confidence that APC would win.

Buhari praised co-chairs of the Governorship Campaign Council, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Abdullahi Ganduje, and the vice chairman, Governor Abubakar Bello.

“I wish you the best of luck”, the President said.

The president while reacting to the invitation to attend the Grand Finale of the rallies, he said, “I hope I will make myself available to boost your morale.”

APC Deputy National Chairman, Abba Kyari, who introduced Oyetola, thanked the President for guys great leadership of the party.

Other attendees were APC National Secretary, Senator Omisore and Campaign Council Secretary, Ahmed Aliyu, the gubernatorial candidate in Sokoto.
