Osun 2022: Ademola Adeleke walks out of peace meeting
Drama as the Osun PDP governorship aspirants, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, has walked out of the peace meeting conveyed by former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
The reconciliation meeting which was held at the residence of the former Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola had in attendance other 10 members led by Oyinlola to find the lasting solution to the crisis in the party.
Mouthpiece NGR gathered that the former lawmaker and aspirant angrily walked out of the meeting in Okuku along with some of his supporters present at the meeting, Mouthpiece NGR has learnt.
Sources at the meeting said, Adeleke was shouting at the compound after walking out of the meeting. “He was not comfortable with the direction of the meeting.’
It should be recalled that the national headquarters of the party last week constituted an 11-man committee led by Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
When contacted, the director of media of the PDP, Oladele Bamiji said he will get back to Newsmen.
Meanwhile, the state chairman of the party, Sunday Bisi, said there was nothing like that, “There was nothing like that. None of the aspirant walked out of the meeting. The meeting went well.”
“By the grace of God, come march 7, we are going to have our party’s primary, whoever emerges will be our flagbearer and everybody will support him.” he said.
