Alao-Akala’s death: ‘We have lost an indomitable leader in Ogbomoso’— Orire Vice Chair, Lydia Bankole mourns

The Vice Chairman of Orire Local Government, Lydia Bankole has mourned the sudden death of the former Governor of Oyo State, Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala.

In a condolence message on Wednesday evening, Mrs Lydia Bankole said the death of Christopher Alao Akala came as a rude shock.

According to her, Akala has touched a lot of people’s lives positively especially youths and ages from Ogbomoso zone. 

He said his impacts on the people locally and internationally are unprecedented in history.

“Baba was such an indomitable leader to bring such great developments to ogbomoso, state and the nation as a whole.”

 “He is a philanthropist to the core. I’m so glad that I got the chance to know him, and I’m heartbroken that my mentor is gone.”

“He has left such a heartwarming legacy with his family, and we will definitely miss him”. 

“On behalf of my family, all the good people of ogbomoso and Oyo State, I pray that his soul continue to rest in the Almighty God’s  hands, and that his family be bestowed with the fortitude to bear the pitfalls created by this great loss” she prayed.
