2023: “Keep quiet and lick the congealed oil of defeat at the polls”— Dare Adeleke slams Oyo APC

Vocal and valorous Oyo PDP Chieftain Dare Adeleke on Saturday described Oyo APC members as delusional failures and hungry lame lions driven out of the pride and now filled with hate and bile.

Adeleke who is currently the Chairman, Oyo Pacesetters Transport Company, said “Oyo APC members who have been dislodged from power by the people of the state, have proven to be the most useless bunch of opposition ever witnessed in Nigeria, never up to any good, peddling one lie or the other to disrupt the peace and progress being witnessed in the state under the government of Engr. Seyi Makinde.”

He stated this in a press release made available to press men in Ibadan Saturday, 1st January, 2022. 

He advised the Oyo APC executive to keep quiet and lick the congealed oil of defeat at the polls, off their rotting paws rather than aggravate the people who they carelessly and recklessly raped for eight good years.”

The Statement reads: “I wish to congratulate all the people of Oyo State as we usher in the year 2022. 2021 was indeed a trying year for the world in general but we thank God Almighty who saw us all through.”

“I would also like to commend His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his grand gesture and initiative extended to beggars and destitutes in the capital city, Ibadan. It is heartwarming and indeed laudable that beggars and destitutes in Oyo State will not only be resettled in befitting accomodations but will also be given training in vocational fields.”

“It is only a leader who is humane and kind with the people as his priority, who will think of such an act of humanity. Where others scorn and deride them, Makinde has extended love and hope. May God bless His Excellency for this great initiative.”

“However, while Nigerians and people world over welcomed the New Year with hope and prayers, it is unfortunate that some gangs of hagged and ragged old hyenas called the Oyo APC decided to brew a cauldron of evil, vomiting their hate into it.

I would like to tell these bunch of halfwits that the Oyo people are tired of their unintelligent antics.

Most laughable is their comparison of His Excellency with Zulum of Borno and Ayade of Cross River.”

“Is the Oyo APC the leaders in those states? Should we not remind them that they ruled Oyo for eight years and that any comparison they think they want to make should start from their eight years of woes and failure in Oyo?

“I must emphasize that this is not about Zulum or Ayade. If they are doing well in their states,

good for them but we must remind these alley rats in the Oyo APC that without any form of partiality, His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde was rated Best Performing Governor of the year 2021. Makinde is not in competition with anyone but himself as he continues to strive harder to beat every record he sets.”

“It is to their shame that these Oyo APC members who have been dislodged from power by the people of the state, have proven to be the most useless bunch of opposition ever witnessed in Nigeria, never up to any good, peddling one lie or the other to disrupt the peace and progress being witnessed in the state under the government of Engr. Seyi Makinde.”

“It is on record that Makinde inherited a state sick from mismanagement and grand pilfering by the erstwhile APC government of Abiola Ajimobi. The state was bleeding from lack of progress, unexecuted projects, heavy weight of months and months of unpaid salaries, a very shabby education system due to zero attention to the sector, decayed infrastructure, rickety transport system, roads abandoned and left to rot, inhuman health sector, and so much more. Rather than concentrate on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people, Ajimobi instituted thuggery and plunged the state into near chaos.

Comparatively, Engineer Seyi Makinde refused to toy with the massive support he got from the people through the ballot.”

“Let’s now x-ray some of the achievements of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde in just 31months in debunking the APC house of lies.

The LAUTECH-Under-G road started and completed within Makinde’s first year in office. So the APC’s lies that Makinde had nothing to show in Ogbomosho is a grand lie and delusion of drunk clowns.”

“Did Makinde not achieve the sole ownership of LAUTECH which is based in Ogbomoso? An institution that Ajimobi cared little about and where he was once disgraced by students for his arrogance and lack of thought?”

“Makinde’s government’s upgrade of the Ibadan Airport has been commended by all avaition stakeholders and bigger airlines such as Airpeace have indicated their interest in flying the Ibadan route due to this worthy effort.”

“Makinde has spread development all around the state unlike the APC Ajimobi government which spent more time and energy arming youths to destabilize the polity.”

“In Oyo City, the 691-shop ultramodern Akesan Market was built by Makinde. In the Transport sector, it is on record that Ajimobi left 20 dilapidated buses in the Transport Company which had become a cemetery for buses.”

“Today, with the effort of Makinde, the Pacesetters Transport has over 100 buses in it’s fleet and can compete with any transport system in any modern city.”

“Engr. Seyi Makinde is of the full awareness that youthful energy not properly directed may become problem for the society. Hence he revamped the sports sector, remodelling and renovating the Lekan Salami Sport Complex as well as the ongoing construction of six mini-stadia in Ibadan, Oyo, Iseyin, Saki, Ogbomoso and Igbo Ora. Youths who were once given guns by people aided by previous administrations are now gainfully employed in the sports sector while thousands are being groomed to become better people and empowered through sports.”

“The now jobless APC tramps still haven’t realised that lies cannot stand when there are tangible projects on ground for all to see. The Light-Up Oyo project, Makinde’s giant strides in Agribusiness, which has seen close to 6,000 youths trained in different areas of agriculture and the ongoing Fashola Agribusiness Industrial Hub and other key achievements, are evident for all to see.”

“In the health sector, His Excellency Seyi Makinde remains of those leaders whose approach to the Covid-19 pandemic remains indelibly superb.

With it’s proximity to Lagos, the epicenter of the virus, Oyo was expected to explode with cases and even deaths.”

“We are happy that through the prompt action of our Governor in putting isolation centers, other health facilities and massive public awareness in place, Oyo remains stable.”

“Can the APC deny the enormous reconstruction of 351 primary Healthcare facilities across the 351 electoral wards of Oyo State?

“

The infrastructural changes being witnessed across Oyo State are not hidden.

Abandoned roads which were hitherto death traps, have been rehabilitated and many constructed, girdlock in Ibadan the capital city has been eased with the installation of traffic lights and rehabilitation of roads in the city such that Ibadan has now regained it’s glory that the APC stole from the people.”

“The filth and murk introduced by Ajimobi who abandoned governance and laid a siege against the people, have been cleared and the city is clean, beautiful and happy once again, thanks to the man of the people, Engr Seyi Makinde.

“At this point, I will advise the desperate Oyo APC executive to keep quiet and lick the congealed oil of defeat at the polls, off their rotting paws, in quiet shame, rather than continue to aggravate the people who they carelessly and recklessly raped for eight good years.”
