Akeem Olatunji bags Oluyole youths council outstanding award

One of the grassroots politician in Oyo State and Publicity Secretary, Oyo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Akeem Olatunji has been honored with a prestigious outstanding leadership award by a prominent youths organization in Oluyole local government known as Oluyole Youths Council (OYC) for his immense contribution to the youths constituency of the council areas.

Olatunji in a statement culled from his Facebook page thanked the organizers for recognizing his hard work, growth and contributions to the development of Oluyole local government. 

He dedicate the award to Governor Seyi Makinde and the executive chairman of the local government, Hon Settle Olaide for their support and advocacy on good governance. 

The statement reads: “I was this afternoon presented with Outstanding Exemplary Leadership Award by the umbrella body of all youths organizations in Oluyole local government otherwise known as Oluyole Youths Council (OYC).”

“No doubt, Governor Seyi Makinde is making us proud and same with the Executive Chairman of Oluyole LG, Hon Settle Olaide and this is responsible for the recognition the party is getting from all angles.”

“The award was in recognition of my outstanding contribution to youths development in Oluyole LG and the award was presented by the Alayunre of Idi-Ayunre and in attendance was the Executive Chairman of Oluyole LG, Hon Settle Olaide, the Vice Chairman of Oluyole LG, Hon Tunde Ayoade, Leader of Oluyole LG Legislative, Hon Taiwo Isaiah, all Oluyole LG Councilors, Secretary to Oluyole LG, Hon Azeez Babalola, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Hon Niyi Akorede, Assistant Secretary of Oluyole LG, Hon Bolarinwa Olubodun, all Supervisory Councilors and Special Assistants, Chief Imam of Oluyole LG, Imam Taliat, Christian Association of Nigeria Chairman in Oluyole LG, the Director of Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) and other eminent personalities.”
