Anambra Decides: Soludo maintains lead as Ozigbo and Uba battle for second position

Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Cukwuma Charles Soludo, early Sunday afternoon extended his lead as the Independent National Electoral Commissiion (INEC) continued collation of results of Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State.
 

Out of the 21 local government areas where votes were cast, Soludo has clinched 12, while the rest are still under contest.
 

So far, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Andy Uba of the federal-ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are still in a duel to take the second position.

A total of 18 political parties contested the ballot.
