Tears as midnight fire rendered family homeless in Kisi

A poor man has narrated how a midnight fire rendered him and his family members homeless last-week Tuesday.

Speaking with Mouthpiece NGR, Mr Badmus Adesola disclosed that his house was burnt completely at Oke-Atipa Kishi, Oyo state.

He said the incident occurred shortly after 4 hours NEPA supplied electricity at 10:00pm.

According to him, nobody discovered that there was fire outbreak until a boy of 8years went to their room.

“The boy rushed out and shouted Mommy fire fire fire, we only noticed that it was electricity Wire that sparked from Ceiling of roof’s, the man said.

It was learnt that all efforts to put off the light proved abortive as there’s no single fired service motor in the whole Irepo local government.

Properties worth Millions were lost and the incident has further thrown the household on street.

“We can’t longer sleep at place of incidents”, the man said.

  1. That is true, I am from Kisi and went to the place and saw things for myself. The government and we’ll meaning Nigerins should assist the widow and her children who lived in the house.
